Tony Margolis, President and CEO of Tommy Bahama, purveyor of island lifestyles, is pleased to announce a licensing agreement with Beneteau USA Inc. for the design and distribution of the Tommy Bahama Beneteau  473 sailing yacht. This represents a new category for Tommy Bahama and further enhances the lifestyle brand concept. The first sailing yachts will be launched at the United States Sailboat Show, October 7th to 11th 2004 in Annapolis, MD.

We are proud to be associated with Beneteau, one of the finest boat manufacturers in the world. These new yachts will help to show people why 'Life is one long weekend'."

Beneteau USA will customize the Beneteau 473, to create the ultimate sailing yacht that captures the essence of Tommy Bahama. Incorporating unique materials, tropical colorations, innovative design details and advanced manufacturing techniques, these yachts are crafted to satisfy the most scrupulous of sailors for either offshore sailing or cruising the harbor. The 47' vessels each boast extraordinary comfort, volume and light for a graceful elegance with bluewater strength.
